Hello. I am Debra. I am a wife, mother of six children, grandmother of nine and great grandma of two. I love family. I have worked with families professionally for over 42 years. In my own journey I have earn my Birth and Postpartum certification, Childbirth Educator Certification, Lactation Certification, Prenatal Yoga Certification and Perinatal Mental Health Certification. In addition, I have earned an Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Art in Counseling, plus many other certificates. My vision is to continue to provide assistance to families, and helping parents, new mothers or mothers that are expecting again.

I recall times during past pregnancy of having weird thoughts, wanting to talk about my feelings and experiences of pregnancy but had no one who really understood, of course my mom was around and talked to me as a mom and with love; if you know what I mean. However, a lot was left out. But my birthing experiences were very special.

My doula experiences before becoming a Certified Doula were assisting my daughter in laws, my daughter, niece and friends through their pregnancy and labor experience that was amazing and memorable.

At Nurturing Doula Care, LLC, I am passionate about providing educational and nurturing care for expectant parents. I am here as a trusted and dedicated doula, here to support you every step of the way. My goal is to educate, guide you through your birth plan from the time we meet to the birth of your beautiful baby.
